An Introduction

Welcome to Arab American Chronicles!

Given the fact that I’ve never run a blog—and that this was quite a spur-of-the-moment decision—bear with me as I (clumsily) navigate my way.

Let me give you a quick introduction: I’m an Arab American living in the United States. I’m often asked about my identity and what it entails, as for many people, it’s unclear what being Arab and/or what being Middle Eastern actually means.

I’m sure many other people, of all ethnic groups, understand this struggle as well. But instead of getting upset over the ignorance of many people, I implore you to do something. The only way we can combat this ignorance is to raise awareness about the truth.

That being said, I hope to inspire and to teach with each one of my blog posts.
